How to Get the Most Out of Our Time Together

I want you to benefit greatly from the time that we have together each week as well as in between our calls. Following is a brief guide with recommendations as to what you can do to maximize the value from your time working with me.

Be open to getting to know yourself newly. Working with a professional coach is a healthy way to grow. Most clients hire a professional to help them accomplish several specific goals and much of the time, the focus is on these goals. This is the approach that we will take but I encourage you to also be open to discovering new parts of yourself and possibly finding your goals adjusting as you grow into more alignment with who you really are. This discovery process is natural. Accelerated personal and professional growth is a hallmark of being coached.

Be willing to experiment. Part of working with me as your coach is that I will ask a lot of you. Not too much, I hope, but perhaps more than has been asked of you recently. I encourage you to be willing to experiment with new approaches and be open to re-designing areas of your life. This will allow you to more easily reach your goals and live an integrated and fulfilled life – both personally and professionally. I am here to help you use the gifts that you already have – and perhaps uncover some you’ve not been aware of – so that you can enjoy life.

Come to the coaching call prepared. We have 45-60 minutes together and I encourage you to come to the call prepared. To help you, you’ll receive modules and if you are signing up for coaching, I will provide you with a session prep form with questions to consider and to complete prior to our sessions. We may also agree to “action items” for you to complete between sessions to further your growth and progress toward your goals. To receive the most benefit from our time together, I encourage you to come to each session with this form as well as any homework completed – and prepared to participate fully. Each session is scheduled for 30 or 60 minutes. We may or may not require the full time. Many customers get what they need within 30 or 45 minutes into the session so we will allow the call to run its natural course. The real result of these sessions is what happens between our calls.

Calling In. Please call the conference line provided for all appointments, unless instructed otherwise. Call at the exact time we have arranged. If I am not already on the line, please hold for a moment until I join. I will make every attempt to avoid the frustration of your waiting on me, but it could happen. If you are late by more than 15 minutes you will have forfeited your session.

I encourage you to reach out between sessions via our community area and to share if and as questions, challenges or celebrations arise.

About your coach
1. Your coach agrees to treat all information shared during sessions as private and confidential.
2. Your coach is not a professional therapist or psychotherapist.
3. Your coach is here to teach you strategies to become personally empowered and practical tools to move in the direction of your vision and goals.
4. Your coach will focus on action coaching with tools and tips in the moment as well as addressing areas which may arise where you are holding yourself back.
5. Your coach is committing to holding space for your vision and for your success in all areas.
6. Your coach will provide over the course of four (4) consecutive months two monthly group coaching sessions lasting 1-1.5 hours each, with alternating weeks in session, to be conducted either over the telephone, skype or some other electronic remote means.
About your coaching sessions
1. Your coach will train on the appropriate module and coach “in the moment” in regards to the intention of the group clients at the time of the session.
2. The group program coaching schedule is every other week, so 1 week for a module, the alternating week for a coaching session resulting in 2 modules and 2 sessions each month. This allows time for “homework” and integration of takeaways from the sessions.
3. You agree that the Success With Benefits Level 1 Group Program is a four month program and the fee schedule for this coaching relationship is: $555 deposit for Success with Benefits Group Program; this includes program deposit plus $555 per month on the first month of the program and two additional payments of $555 on each successive month thereafter; for a total of $2,220.00.
4. You agree to allow Coach to charge Client’s credit card in this amount on or about the first of every month until the Agreement is terminated by Client or Coach or both. You agree that the credit card information will be updated as necessary from time to time and will hereby waive the right of chargeback.
5. You agree that there are no refunds and that all payments shall be due according to the above schedule even if Client abandons or discontinues the program work.
6. At the scheduled time, you will call the conference dial-in # provided via email unless other arrangements are made or you’re requested to do otherwise.
7. In the event that you must miss a scheduled group coaching session, you understand that a recording will be provided to you of the session but that there is no make up for the group sessions missed.
8. If you have signed up for private coaching, your private coaching sessions will be recorded and a recording of the file made available to you for your reference unless you choose not to have the session recorded.
9. Any overdue payments may result in Coach suspending its delivery or performance of its obligations under this Program and past due payments shall be assessed interest at the rate of 18% per annum.
10. Client and Coach agree to use their best efforts to achieve the desired result or goal and Client will advise within three (3) days after each session if Client believes the services were deficient; otherwise, Coach and Client agree that the session was productive and helpful in assisting Client to reach their stated goals.
11. Client acknowledges and agrees that results may vary and that not every participant shall achieve the same or any result. Client specifically understands and agrees that Coach does not guarantee any particular result or any result whatsoever.
About your responsibilities
1. I understand that coaching is not advice-giving, psychotherapy or counseling. I agree to seek these or other professional services, if needed.
2. I am fully responsible for the decisions and actions I take in regards to my life and affairs.
3. I agree to be mindful of my own well-being during the course of this coaching and to respect others by holding what is shared in the group confidential.
4. I shall in no way hold the coach liable or responsible for any actions I take during or after this coaching relationship.
5. I understand that the coach makes no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied, about any results to be achieved.
6. I understand that I may receive occasional email communications from my coach with additional information, tips and strategies to support the work we are doing together.
7. By agreeing to these terms, I acknowledge that I have had the opportunity to review this agreement, that I understand all aspects within it, and I agree to abide by it.
About confidentiality
1. Coach agrees to maintain confidentiality for Client to the fullest extent permitted by law and that if in the unlikely circumstance Coach is required to comply with a lawful subpoena that Client will defend, indemnify and hold Coach harmless of and from any liability for lawful compliance.
2. Client acknowledges and agrees that the material being used under this Program is for his or her personal use only and is not to be distributed or sold to others without the express written permission of Coach.
The legal bits
1. Coach in its sole discretion may terminate Client’s participation at any time in the unlikely event that Client becomes disruptive, unruly, threatens to breach another member of the group’s confidentiality or otherwise appears to be un-coachable or unteachable. Termination for these reasons will not result in any refunds pro rata or otherwise.
2. Client agrees that Coach’s services are not therapy, mental health care or any other kind of health care and Client agrees not to use Coach’s services as a substitute for therapy or health care. Client agrees that Coach’s services are not financial advice, tax advice, accounting advice or legal advice and Client agrees not to use Coach’s services as a substitute for such advice. Client agrees that he or she is fully and exclusively responsible for his or her own well-being and self-care.
3. Client agrees that Coach shall have no liability for any damages alleged to be sustained arising out any of the Success with Benefits sessions and in any event Coach’s liability under this agreement is limited to the amount Client has paid to Coach. Client agrees not to disparage or make negative statements about Coach or Coach’s services.
4. This Agreement is formed in Georgia where Coach maintains its principal place of business. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Georgia without regard to its conflicts of law/choice of law principles and Client irrevocably consents to personal jurisdiction there and agrees that Chatham County, Georgia shall be the exclusive venue and jurisdiction for any and all disputes between Coach and Client. In the unlikely event of a dispute filed in court, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover from the non-prevailing party all of the attorney’s fees and costs incurred during the litigation.
5. This is the entire agreement between Coach and Client; it supersedes all other negotiations and discussions prior to the execution of this agreement. Client agrees that no other representations have been made by Coach to induce Client into entering into this agreement and no modification to the terms of this agreement shall be effective unless in writing signed by both parties. Client acknowledges and agrees that he or she has read and understood the terms of this Agreement and that his or her signature hereon represents the willingness to abide by all terms and conditions.

Most clients hire a professional to help them accomplish several specific goals and much of the time, the focus is on these goals. This is the approach that we will take but I encourage you to also be open to discovering new parts of yourself and possibly finding your goals adjusting as you grow into more alignment with who you really are. This discovery process is natural. Accelerated personal and professional growth is a hallmark of being coached.

Be willing to experiment. Part of working with me as your coach is that I will ask a lot of you. Not too much, I hope, but perhaps more than has been asked of you recently. I encourage you to be willing to experiment with new approaches and be open to re-designing areas of your life. This will allow you to more easily reach your goals and live an integrated and fulfilled life – both personally and professionally. I am here to help you use the gifts that you already have – and perhaps uncover some you’ve not been aware of – so that you can enjoy life.

Come to the coaching call prepared. We have 45-60 minutes together and I encourage you to come to the call prepared. To help you, you’ll receive modules and if you are signing up for coaching, I will provide you with a session prep form with questions to consider and to complete prior to our sessions. We may also agree to “action items” for you to complete between sessions to further your growth and progress toward your goals. To receive the most benefit from our time together, I encourage you to come to each session with this form as well as any homework completed – and prepared to participate fully. Each session is scheduled for 30 or 60 minutes. We may or may not require the full time. Many customers get what they need within 30 or 45 minutes into the session so we will allow the call to run its natural course. The real result of these sessions is what happens between our calls.

Calling In. Please call the conference line provided for all appointments, unless instructed otherwise. Call at the exact time we have arranged. If I am not already on the line, please hold for a moment until I join. I will make every attempt to avoid the frustration of your waiting on me, but it could happen. If you are late by more than 15 minutes you will have forfeited your session.

About your coach

3. Your coach is here to teach you strategies to become personally empowered and practical tools to move in the direction of your vision and goals.
4. Your coach will focus on action coaching with tools and tips in the moment as well as addressing areas which may arise where you are holding yourself back.
5. Your coach is committing to holding space for your vision and for your success in all areas.
6. Your coach will provide over the course of four (4) consecutive months two monthly group coaching sessions lasting 1-1.5 hours each, with alternating weeks in session, to be conducted either over the telephone, skype or some other electronic remote means.
About your coaching sessions
1. Your coach will train on the appropriate module and coach “in the moment” in regards to the intention of the group clients at the time of the session.
2. The group program coaching schedule is every other week, so 1 week for a module, the alternating week for a coaching session resulting in 2 modules and 2 sessions each month. This allows time for “homework” and integration of takeaways from the sessions.
3. You agree that the Success With Benefits Level 1 Group Program is a four month program and the fee schedule for this coaching relationship is: $555 deposit for Success with Benefits Group Program; this includes program deposit plus $555 per month on the first month of the program and two additional payments of $555 on each successive month thereafter; for a total of $2,220.00.
4. You agree to allow Coach to charge Client’s credit card in this amount on or about the first of every month until the Agreement is terminated by Client or Coach or both. You agree that the credit card information will be updated as necessary from time to time and will hereby waive the right of chargeback.
5. You agree that there are no refunds and that all payments shall be due according to the above schedule even if Client abandons or discontinues the program work.
6. At the scheduled time, you will call the conference dial-in # provided via email unless other arrangements are made or you’re requested to do otherwise.
7. In the event that you must miss a scheduled group coaching session, you understand that a recording will be provided to you of the session but that there is no make up for the group sessions missed.
8. If you have signed up for private coaching, your private coaching sessions will be recorded and a recording of the file made available to you for your reference unless you choose not to have the session recorded.
9. Any overdue payments may result in Coach suspending its delivery or performance of its obligations under this Program and past due payments shall be assessed interest at the rate of 18% per annum.
10. Client and Coach agree to use their best efforts to achieve the desired result or goal and Client will advise within three (3) days after each session if Client believes the services were deficient; otherwise, Coach and Client agree that the session was productive and helpful in assisting Client to reach their stated goals.
11. Client acknowledges and agrees that results may vary and that not every participant shall achieve the same or any result. Client specifically understands and agrees that Coach does not guarantee any particular result or any result whatsoever.
About your responsibilities
1. I understand that coaching is not advice-giving, psychotherapy or counseling. I agree to seek these or other professional services, if needed.
2. I am fully responsible for the decisions and actions I take in regards to my life and affairs.
3. I agree to be mindful of my own well-being during the course of this coaching and to respect others by holding what is shared in the group confidential.
4. I shall in no way hold the coach liable or responsible for any actions I take during or after this coaching relationship.
5. I understand that the coach makes no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied, about any results to be achieved.
6. I understand that I may receive occasional email communications from my coach with additional information, tips and strategies to support the work we are doing together.
7. By agreeing to these terms, I acknowledge that I have had the opportunity to review this agreement, that I understand all aspects within it, and I agree to abide by it.
About confidentiality
1. Coach agrees to maintain confidentiality for Client to the fullest extent permitted by law and that if in the unlikely circumstance Coach is required to comply with a lawful subpoena that Client will defend, indemnify and hold Coach harmless of and from any liability for lawful compliance.
2. Client acknowledges and agrees that the material being used under this Program is for his or her personal use only and is not to be distributed or sold to others without the express written permission of Coach.
The legal bits
1. Coach in its sole discretion may terminate Client’s participation at any time in the unlikely event that Client becomes disruptive, unruly, threatens to breach another member of the group’s confidentiality or otherwise appears to be un-coachable or unteachable. Termination for these reasons will not result in any refunds pro rata or otherwise.
2. Client agrees that Coach’s services are not therapy, mental health care or any other kind of health care and Client agrees not to use Coach’s services as a substitute for therapy or health care. Client agrees that Coach’s services are not financial advice, tax advice, accounting advice or legal advice and Client agrees not to use Coach’s services as a substitute for such advice. Client agrees that he or she is fully and exclusively responsible for his or her own well-being and self-care.
3. Client agrees that Coach shall have no liability for any damages alleged to be sustained arising out any of the Success with Benefits sessions and in any event Coach’s liability under this agreement is limited to the amount Client has paid to Coach. Client agrees not to disparage or make negative statements about Coach or Coach’s services.
4. This Agreement is formed in Georgia where Coach maintains its principal place of business. Client agrees that Coach nor any Community member shall have no liability for any damages alleged to be sustained arising out any of the Success with Benefits sessions and in any event Coach’s liability under this agreement is limited to the amount Client has paid to Coach. Client agrees not to disparage or make negative statements about Coach or Coach’s services.
4. This Agreement is formed in Georgia where Coach maintains its principal place of business. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Georgia without regard to its conflicts of law/choice of law principles and Client irrevocably consents to personal jurisdiction there and agrees that Chatham County, Georgia shall be the exclusive venue and jurisdiction for any and all disputes between Coach and Client. In the unlikely event of a dispute filed in court, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover from the non-prevailing party all of the attorney’s fees and costs incurred during the litigation.
5. This is the entire agreement between Coach and Client; it supersedes all other negotiations and discussions prior to the execution of this agreement. Client agrees that no other representations have been made by Coach to induce Client into entering into this agreement and no modification to the terms of this agreement shall be effective unless in writing signed by both parties. Client acknowledges and agrees that he or she has read and understood the terms of this Agreement and that his or her signature hereon represents the willingness to abide by all terms and conditions.
